Offers nearly all softsare development tools (make, gdb, python, gcc), and every-day software (tmux, vim, zsh, irssi, and even X).
I can't find any other host which offers this degree of power and freedom to user. Definitely the best ssh host after shellmix.com closed.
The only downside is connection speed is a bit slow.

The shell runs on a really old box - but it runs fine. The guy who runs this is awesome! No regrets - 4/5 hardware could be better.
